Our teaching and learning are influenced by educational thinking promoted by theorists such as Brofenbrenner (Ecosystem), Vygotsky (Socio-constructive theory), Costa & Kellick (Habits and Mind), Samoan cultural values of good relationships, Biblical principles and understandings for good Christians, as well as Te Whariki.

We will engage in ongoing professional development and reflective thinking to ensure that we remain lifelong learners.

We will encourage children to be curious and questioning in our Aoga.

Achievement and knowledge are important to us in our teaching and learning therefore we seek to empower children to be confident and competent learners who will achieve successfully at school. Our dream is that our children will go on to be successful learners at tertiary level and be successful lifelong learners.
